Nigel is one month old today!

As I’ve expected our li’l angel has grown much. He is now 55 cm long and weighs 5 kilos! His pedia said his weight is that of a three month old haha! He consumes more milk. He used to only consume about 2-3 ounces of milk per feeding but now he sometimes finishes up to 5 oz. I am already making him wear his 3-6 months outfits, he might end up not wearing them considering the rate of his growth. His looks also changed a little. He's beginning to look more like Butch.

I am checking to see if Nigel is growing normally in this Developemental Milestone Chart for Children Amy gave me. I shall look at it every month to make sure Nigel is doing okay. I am happy because I’ve see Nigel do all the milestones. Here they are and how Nigel has demonstrated them

Raises head slightly from prone
Sometimes, when I burp him, he would raise his head a little bit from my shoulder. I just support his head with my hand.

Hands fisted
Though I can’t see his hands all the time because they’re covered with mittens,I could see both hands are fisted when I give him a bath

Eyes follow object to midline
Nigel follows his brightly colored rattle ball with his eyes whenever we play with it.

Throaty gurgling sounds
I am not sure what this is exactly but Nigel sure does a lot of sounds with his throat.

Regards face
Whenever someone other than me or Butch carries him, he looks at their face as if trying to study them.

I intend to cut his nails today. It has gotten so long. Think vampy nails. I'll wait for him to go into one of his deep sleeps and i'll do it.
